Club History

The Team originally played from the Crystal Palace and was formed in time for the start of the 2001 / 2002 season. Managed by Brinley Mills, the club experienced a lot of success in their first year by winning the Challenge Cup. Promotion followed and again the year after, when they also reached the semi final of the Division 4 Cup in 2003. Dave Nicholls took over as manager for the 2003 / 2004 season and the team continued to flourish with yet more promotions.

As the name suggests, Attleborough Oak FC, the club is now based at the Royal Oak, Attleborough and has been so since 2005. Dave Smith ran the Royal Oak pub at the time, his help in the clubs transition was and is very much appreciated. The Royal Oak has since been taken over by John Harvey and thankfully nothing has changed. John welcomed the team to maintain their association with the Oak and continues to support the club.

Through out the years Attleborough Oak FC has endeavored to support local Charities and raise money for many worth while causes. For more information on such activities, please see the Events and Charity page.
