28th October 2007 Windmil 2 - 1 Attleborough Oak After being knocked out of the Tribune Cup last week, the Windmill played host to an Attleborough Oak side that seemed low on confidence. The Oak struggled to find each other as passes went astray, but neither side looked dangerous until a shanked clearance from skipper David Hammersley put the Windmill stiker one on one with Andy Exton. Gaining a yard and with a calm finish the forward put the Windmill one up. Shortly after, with some more suspect defending, the Oak found themselves two down. With counter attacking play, the Windmill managed to switch play to find their left winger, unmarked and able to finish. A sturdier Oak turned up for the second half, but the away side still laboured in comparison to previous performance's. Jamie Mills struck a tidy finish late on in reply, but with tired legs and lacking any real threat in attack, the score remained 2 - 1.
